Shady residency: Passive technologies through shading devices for some building styles to fix heat problem causes by climate change in a tropical area

Abstract The issue of Green Building arises after environmental issues that lead to global warming are echoed. All kinds interpretations about green buildings often associated with the building’s adaptation ability environment including heat problems. This research aims evaluate shading devices in 3 building styles, namely Minimalist, Modern Tropical, and Mediterranean how respond problems due climate change investigating have potential be applied all styles by using simulation method ECOTECT software. results mentioned area device form a terrace or balcony canopy (horizontal curve overhangs), either stand-alone continuously upward like Portico style shows good performance reducing incoming heat. And type is found 6 9 house samples which indicate this can potentially various modification shapes according each style.
